Schools designated to train 'highly paid technicians' have been determined.

"The schools to train 'highly paid technicians' have been identified" The Ministry of National Education (MEB) has identified vocational high schools where qualified technicians, who are planned to be employed with salaries of up to 10,000 Turkish Liras per month in the field of milling and sector machinery, where Turkey is the leading exporter internationally, will be trained. Three high schools in Çorum, Gaziantep, and Konya will start admitting students from the 2019-2020 academic year onwards.

Zeki Demirtaşoğlu, President of the Milling and Sector Machinery Manufacturers Association (DESMÜD), stated that there is a great need for qualified personnel in the milling sector in Turkey. Reminding that Turkey is the leading exporter internationally in the field of milling and sector machinery, and they use 'Industry 4.0', Demirtaşoğlu expressed their desire to direct young people to this field. He also reminded that the sector has a target of $7 billion in exports by 2023. Demirtaşoğlu stated that they are nearing the end of their efforts under the joint education protocol they signed with MEB in November last year to train the new generation of millers.
