Information Text on the Processing of Personal Data Received through Membership, Contact Forms and Orders

BASTAK INSTRUMENTS requests certain personal data (such as name, surname, account password, e-mail address, delivery address, billing address, mobile phone number) in order to fulfill its legal obligations arising from relevant legislation, particularly Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, and to carry out collection, invoicing, order delivery, and/or membership registration processes. Your personal data in question will be processed and stored in an environment that is not accessible to the public, based on your explicit consent, provided that it will not be used for purposes other than those specified in this KVKK and the Information Text.

Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Personal data will be processed in accordance with the law and the rules of integrity and the principles of retention in a manner that is related to the purpose of processing, limited and proportionate, and for the period stipulated in the relevant legislation or necessary for the purpose of processing, for the planning and execution of commercial activities, for providing information to authorized institutions and organizations arising from legislation, for obtaining payment services on matters that are not directly provided by us and that are not within our area of expertise, for delivering orders, for making collections, for creating your membership record, for issuing invoices, for resolving consumer complaints, for sending commercial electronic messages if you give your explicit consent, for planning and execution of audit activities necessary to ensure that activities are carried out in accordance with the company procedures and relevant legislation, for planning and execution of corporate sustainability activities, for carrying out activities to protect our company's reputation, for managing request and complaint processes, and for planning and execution of corporate governance and communication activities. Your personal data may be processed, in whole or in part, by automated or non-automated means, including collection, recording, storage, preservation, modification, and rearrangement. Collected information is not shared with third parties without your knowledge or instruction to the contrary, and is not used or sold for commercial purposes other than our business.

Transfer of Personal Data

In order to fulfill the purposes mentioned above, the personal data obtained from you may be shared with the Ministry of Trade, domestic/overseas/international public/private institutions and organizations, companies from which our company receives service/support/consulting services or cooperates, our company's consultants or solution partners, other group companies, other authorized institutions and organizations, suppliers or subcontractors, persons or organizations permitted by the Turkish Commercial Code and other relevant legislation, legally authorized public and/or private legal entities limited to the purposes requested within their legal authority, persons or organizations permitted or required by other legislation, and with official authorities upon request. Your personal data may be transferred to third parties without your explicit consent pursuant to Articles 5 and 8 of the Personal Data Protection Law.

Method of Collection of Personal Data

Your personal data may be collected in written, verbal or electronic form through our website.

Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Personal Data

Pursuant to Article 7 of the Personal Data Protection Law, although personal data has been processed in accordance with the relevant legislation, if the reasons requiring processing disappear, personal data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized by BASTAK INSTRUMENTS, either ex officio or upon the request of the personal data owner. The procedures and principles regarding this matter will be fulfilled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and the Regulation on the Deletion, Destruction or Anonymization of Personal Data. Personal data will be deleted, destroyed or anonymized within 3 months following the date on which our obligation to delete, destroy or anonymize personal data arises. When you request the deletion or destruction of your personal data by contacting our company;

a) If all conditions for processing personal data no longer apply, your personal data will be deleted, destroyed, or anonymized. Your request will be finalized within 30 days, and you will be notified.
b) If all conditions for processing personal data have been eliminated and the personal data subject to the request has been transferred to third parties, this situation is notified to third parties and the necessary actions are taken.
c) If all the conditions for processing personal data have not been eliminated, your request may be rejected by explaining the reason, and the rejection will be notified to you in writing or electronically within 30 days at the latest.

Your Rights Under the Personal Data Protection Law

According to Article 11 of the Law, customers, as personal data owners;

• Learning whether your personal data is being processed,

• Requesting information regarding the processing of personal data,

• Learning the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,

• Knowing the third parties to whom personal data is transferred, either domestically or abroad,

• Requesting correction of personal data if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly,

• Requesting the deletion, anonymization or destruction of personal data,

• Requesting notification to third parties in case of correction, deletion, anonymization or destruction,

• Objecting to the emergence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,

• In case of damage caused by the unlawful processing of personal data, the person has the right to demand compensation for the damage.

Non-Personal Information

Non-personal information is information that cannot be personally identified. This information can be used for any purpose and may be shared with third parties without consent.
