Our President, Zeki Demirtaşoğlu, and Prof. Dr. Nusret Zencirci took a significant step by visiting the Rector of Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Prof. Dr. Ali Cengizoğlu. During the visit, an appointment was made with Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, the President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), to meet with Rector Cengizoğlu. During this meeting, the importance of the milling sector, which is a highly strategic sector for our country, was emphasized.

The milling sector plays a crucial role in the food industry and is considered a fundamental component for the production of flour and bakery products. To maximize our country's potential in this field, the idea of opening a new four-year Milling Department is being considered. This will meet the demand for intermediate personnel required by the sector and will also greatly contribute to job creation.

Furthermore, by addressing the shortage of experts in the milling sector, it will be possible to facilitate the sector's development in a more efficient and sustainable manner. This step will not only make a significant contribution to our country's economy but also support the growth of the food industry. The opening of the milling department is seen as a significant step towards achieving our country's growth and development goals in the agriculture and food sectors. As a result, our sector will become more competitive nationally and internationally, and more job opportunities will be created nationwide.
