Bastak Instruments Met Future Engineers at Ankara University Food Engineering Career Day ’25!

On May 28, 2025, we proudly took part in the Food Engineering Career Day ’25 hosted by the Faculty of Engineering at Ankara University. As Bastak Instruments, we were delighted to meet and engage with aspiring food engineers.

During the event, our Founder and General Manager Zeki Demirtaşoğlu addressed the students, sharing in-depth insights about our R&D-driven production model, our 54 ICC-standard quality control instruments, and our strong presence in the global market.

As one of Turkey's leading manufacturers in food and grain analysis technologies, he illustrated how our high-capacity production facility not only serves industrial needs but also supports academic research with reliable, innovative solutions.

In addition to our rheological and viscosity analysis devices such as the Absograph 500, Sedimentation 3100, and Falling Number, students also showed great interest in our flour and dough quality control devices like the Gluten Washer and Gluten Index. Through hands-on demonstrations, we explained each device's function, analysis principles, and role in quality control processes in detail.

Throughout the day, we had valuable conversations with students, exchanging ideas and sharing industry knowledge to support their career journeys.
