Where It All Began: Welcoming the Professors Who Shaped Our Founder

It was a great honor to welcome distinguished faculty members from the Department of Food Engineering at Ankara University to the Bastak R&D and Innovation Center. Ankara University's Food Engineering Department is one of Türkiye's long-established institutions in food science and engineering.

For our Founder & CEO, Zeki Demirtaşoğlu, an alumnus of Ankara University Food Engineering, this visit was especially meaningful, as it provided an opportunity to reunite with his esteemed professors.

We sincerely thank Prof. Dr. Kezban Candoğan, Prof. Dr. Aslı İşçi, Prof. Dr. Berrin Özkaya, Prof. Dr. Aziz Tekin, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cansu Ekin Bonacina for their valuable visit and inspiring discussions.

We believe that strengthening the collaboration between academia and industry is essential to advancing food science — and moments like this remind us where Bastak's own journey began.
