Fumonisin Test Kit

Explanation

Fumonisin Test Kit
Fumonisins are important toxic mold metabolites produced by a fungus called Fusarium moniliforme and are one of the most common contaminants of corn. These substances are highly resistant to heat, and it has been found that they do not completely disappear in many food processing stages. Fumonisins (F) are responsible for the etiopathogenesis of various diseases and are non-genotoxic carcinogens. These substances mimic genotoxic carcinogens in initiating and progressing cancer. Fine particulate material (<3mm) in corn is where the fumonisin level is highest. The Fumonisin Test Kit allows the user to obtain precise concentrations of one part per million (ppm). Free fumonisin in samples and controls is allowed to compete with enzyme-labeled fumonisin (conjugate) for binding sites on the antibody. Fumonisin Test Kits are used in many fields such as Food and Drug Administration, health units, various universities, scientific research units, agriculture departments, animal husbandry and veterinary, production farms, slaughterhouses, food and meat processing plants, inspection and quarantine units.
