Fertilizers are compounds that contain one or more kinds of plant nutrients. The application of organic or inorganic fertilizers to the soil or directly to the plant in order to achieve the intended quality and efficiency in plant production is called fertilization.
When applied to the soil, any of the forms of banding, sprinkling, quarrying, spraying or drip irrigation can be applied.
When deciding on one of these applications, fertilizer characteristics and farmer opportunities must be taken into account.
In order to increase the productivity of agricultural production, good soil tillage, irrigation, and correct fertilization are needed for disease and pest control.
For these reasons, a sample must be taken and an analysis must be made in order to decide on the most appropriate type and amount of fertilizer.
