General features
Surface volumetric flasks are especially recommended for use with hazardous and/or valuable solutions.
It is equipped with exactly the same technical features as the transparent and amber volumetric flasks coded 013.01.xxx and 014.01.xxx
Their bodies are coated with a specially formulated coating that prevents sudden impact resistance and minimizes storage risks during body breakage.
The coating on the body protects the body by covering it like a glove and prevents broken parts from scattering around.
By holding the coating body together during breakage, leakage of liquid is minimal.
Most of the time, the liquid in the volumetric flask remains in the container without leaking.
The coating is highly transparent and can withstand temperatures up to 135 °C for a maximum of 30 minutes.
They can be washed up to 95 °C and autoclaved up to 121 °C. Surface-covered volumetric flasks should not be placed in direct contact with flame.
Flasks on the surface should not be contacted directly with flame.
