Çorum’un Değirmen Makineleri ihracat rakamı 200 Milyon Dolar!

At the breakfast program organized by the Milling Sector and Machinery Manufacturers Association, Association President Zeki Demirtaşoğlu, İsmail Alapala and many industry representatives came together.

Zeki Demirtaşoğlu, President of the Milling Sector and Machinery Manufacturers Association, provided information about the economy, saying, "Our sector aims to reach $4 billion in exports this year. One of the most important regions is Çorum. Approximately 35 percent of our members are in Çorum. That's why we held the regional consultation meeting in Çorum. Çorum is one of the cities with the highest concentration of Anatolian lions contributing to Turkey's exports. We attach particular importance to Çorum, a global brand with a clear vision."

THE VALUABLE WORK WE DO MUST BE APPRECIATED BY THE STATE

At the meeting, it was noted that Çorum's mill machinery exports were around $200 million, ranking it third in Türkiye. Demirtaşoğlu stated, "We believe our country should also prioritize this. We also believe that Çorum should be granted certain privileges in regional development. We believe that our industrialists, who have always championed our homeland and nation in the heart of Anatolia, should have easier access to credit, land allocation, and at least a 10% interest rate support to continue their industrial activities. A $4 billion export figure is a good figure. The Milling Sector and Machinery Manufacturers Association accounts for almost 25% of machinery exports. I believe our colleagues should be aware of their own value. I think you will be surprised to see factories built, which are so easy for them. We believe that the valuable work we do should also be appreciated by the state."

INDUSTRIALISTS SHOULD HAVE EASY ACCESS TO CREDIT! THEY CANNOT GROW WITHOUT CREDIT SUPPORT

The milling sector and machinery exporters are ranked number one globally. Therefore, state banks should provide special incentives to our sector. If the government provides a seven-and-a-half point interest rate support for the licensed warehouse institution, it should provide at least a ten-point interest rate support to this sector, which has much higher added value. They should facilitate this. As an association, we will do our part. Accessing credit from Exim Bank should be made easier. We want a branch in Ankara, but we can't reach Istanbul. I believe we need easy access to Exim Bank. Because credit is the primary support for exporters. In an era of soaring expenses, industrialists cannot grow without credit support. They cannot increase employment or sustain their businesses. Read our technical blogs on flour, wheat, and grains, and how to analyze them with quality control instruments, in the Blog section.
